The clinical trial offers a unique treatment option with a standard or new approach, and treatment outcomes are closely monitored by our doctors and their colleagues abroad. All examinations, diagnostics and treatment are free, but before that we have to go through certain steps.
A conversation with our doctor.
Our doctors will provide a free second opinion based on your previous medical documentation and give their opinion on the current course of the disease.
Can I participate in a clinical trial?
Based on the information on the current course of the disease, the doctor will give an opinion on whether we can continue with a more detailed assessment for participation.
Free examinations
After signing the informed consent, we perform detailed laboratory findings and other standard tests necessary for a detailed insight into the state of your illness.
Treatment
After all the findings have been received and after both the doctor and the patient agree to continue, we start the treatment and monitor the therapeutic response in detail.

The Solmed Polyclinic is dedicated to attracting new research projects (clinical trials) from abroad to provide an innovative approach to treatment for a greater number of patients in Croatia. If we currently lack a solution for your ailment, leave your details to receive timely notification when we can assist you.
Without clinical research, there would be no new drugs or advances in medicine. Participating in a clinical research increases the likelihood that future generations will have better therapeutic options.
The whole treatment process is closely monitored by a specialist physician at the Solmed Clinic, but also by a top specialist from abroad. Thus, the patient constantly gets a second opinion and superior healthcare.
All clinical trial costs (including all diagnostics before and during the trial) and travel expenses are fully covered. Patients living outside Zagreb are offered paid accommodation at a 4-star hotel for the duration of the application of therapy.
All required diagnostic test are performed in the shortest possible time in the most modern private institutions, without waiting lists, referrals and any cost to the patient.
Patients receiving either standard therapy or placebo also receive superior health care when compared to the standard healthcare system (either private or public).
Patients in clinical trials usually receive either standard therapy or the study drug, so all patients get the therapy that is proven effective in their disease.
