Eugen Javor is clinical pharmacy specialist. He graduated pharmacy in 2011 at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, passed his specialist exam in 2018. and served as Chair of the Drugs and Therapeutics Committee from 2020 to 2023. He has started his PhD study programme in 2016 at the University of Rijeka, School of Medicine in the field of Biomedicine with PhD topic related to the effect of probiotics in patients suffering from obesity and irritable bowel syndrome. He has 8 years of experience in design and analysis of clinical trials. He is oriented on evidence based medicine, value based medicine and translational medicine
He has actively participated in a number of domestic and international professional meetings and congresses, and acted as organization and scientific committee member. He is associate lecturer in numerous educations and workshops for health care professionals, and tutor for colleagues and students on professional training. He is author and co-author of near twenty articles in Current Contents Connect indexed journals such as “New England Journal of Medicine“, “Journal of the American Medical Association – JAMA“, “Journal of Clinical Oncology“ and “European Heart Journal“. He is reviewer in several journals such as “JAMA Network Open” and author of several book chapters. From 2019 he is representative of European Society of Oncology Pharmacy (ESOP) at the European Cancer Organization (ECO) for information and communication technologies. From 2022 he acts as Ambassador for implementation of European Statements on Hospital Pharmacy (EAHP) in Croatia.
