Dunja Barišić, MD, was born in Zagreb, where she completed elementary school and attended II. General Gymnasium. She graduated from the School of Medicine in Zagreb in 2014, and completed her internship at KB Sveti Duh in 2015. The specialization in clinical pharmacology with toxicology began the following year at the same hospital and was completed by the end of 2020. As part of her specialization, she attended the postgraduate study at the School of Medicine in Zagreb in the field of clinical pharmacology.
Her clinical work focuses on vulnerable groups – pregnant women, the elderly population, patients with multiple comorbidities taking therapy, and those with impaired renal function. As part of her clinical work, she participates in conducting clinical drug trials as a subinvestigator.
She actively participates in numerous congresses in the fields of clinical pharmacology and internal medicine.
