After completing her natural sciences and mathematics education at the V. Gymnasium in Zagreb, Antonija continued her studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at the University of Zagreb, where she completed an integrated pharmacy program. During her studies, she gained work experience in pharmaceutical companies such as Aromara d.o.o., Medika d.d., and Roche d.o.o., as well as working in City Pharmacies Zagreb.
She also worked in the Pharmacotherapeutic Counseling Center at the Zagreb Health Center and the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb on scientific papers focused on drug side effects. She has been a long-time member of the Association of Pharmacy and Medical Biochemistry Students in Croatia, through which she participated in organizing numerous public health campaigns, lectures, and student exchanges, aiming to contribute to enriching the education of future pharmacists. For her efforts, she received two Rector’s awards for socially beneficial work in the academic and wider community.
Through her work at Solmed Polyclinic, she aims to continue along this path of improving the pharmaceutical profession, developing new treatment options, and enhancing patient care.
