Dr. Zeljković was born on 1986 in Split. He studied at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, where he graduated in 2010 with an average grade of 4,92 out of 5.
He started his residency in cardiology in 2012, and passed the specialist exam in October 2017, and since then he has been working at the Clinic for Cardiovascular Diseases in a university hospital as a specialist cardiologist. His narrower field of expertise is arrhythmology and cardiac electrostimulation. In 2017, he underwent training in the field of interventional electrophysiology, cardiac electrostimulation and resynchronization therapy at the University Hospital Basel (Universitätspital Basel), lasting one year.
He received the academic degree of PhD in the field of biomedicine and health in June 2017, with a doctoral thesis “The effectiveness of cardiogonometry in the prediction of stable coronary heart disease in women”.
He actively participated in a number of domestic and international professional meetings and conferences. He published a number of articles in cited publications, out of which 25 are indexed in Current Contents database. He also collaborated in writing of the textbook “Electrocardiographic methods in everyday practice”.
