Tina Slunjski Rutić, MD, a specialist in endocrinology and diabetology, graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in 2007. She completed her internship at the General Hospital Varaždin, after which she passed the professional state exam in 2008 and obtained approval for independent practice. From 2008 to 2009, she worked at the Health Center of Varaždin County as a physician in the Emergency Medical Service in Varaždin. Afterward, she pursued specialization in endocrinology and diabetology at the General Hospital Varaždin. She successfully passed the specialist exam in endocrinology and diabetology in 2019.
As part of her specialization, she completed the postgraduate specialist study in “Endocrinology and Diabetology” and a postgraduate course in continuous medical education, focusing on ultrasound of the neck in 2019. Since 2019, she has been involved in bariatric surgery as an endocrinologist in the Obesity Treatment Team, Bariatric, and Metabolic Surgery at the General Hospital Varaždin.
She has participated in several clinical diabetological studies and has been a participant and speaker at numerous national and a few international professional conferences.
Tina Slunjski Rutić is a member of the Croatian Medical Chamber, Croatian Medical Association, Croatian Society for Endocrinology and Diabetology, European Society of Endocrinology, and EYES (ESE Young Endocrinologist and Scientists).
