Damir Kućančanin, bacc. med. techn.

After graduating from the Medical High School in Osijek, he studied at “Zdravstveno Veleučilište” in Zagreb. During his studies, as an active athlete, he showed great interest in maintaining health with proper nutrition. He was particulary interested into the impact of different types of nutrition on human health. His reasearch resulted in the publication of an article in the Croatian Journal of Public Health entitled “The Influence of a Ketogenic Diet on the Treatment of Various Diseases”. After graduating, he was employed at the university hospital Sestre Milosrdnice in Zagreb, where during his six years of work at the emergency department he gained extensive knowledge in the approach to medical emergencies, as well as experience in a multidisciplinary approach to working with patients. He is currently the main study coordinator and technician, actively involved in everyday work and supervision of eight clinical trials.
