Adult patients with cardiovascular disease and hyperlipidemia
Therapy: Innovative drug that acts on the protein found on particles of HDL (high-density lipoprotein) cholesterol, LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol, and triglycerides. It reduces the concentration of LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and increases the concentration of HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol). The innovative medicine is intended for adult patients with cardiovascular disease who are already on high doses of lipid-lowering medications and still cannot achieve target LDL cholesterol levels.
