Danijel Mijatović completed his secondary education at Viktorovac High School in Sisak, specializing as a general care nurse/technician. After finishing high school in 2015, he enrolled in a regular nursing program at the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb and then pursued a regular master’s program in nursing at the University of Zagreb’s School of Medicine, where he earned the title of University Master of Nursing. He began his professional career in the Intensive Care Unit at the “Dr. Ivo Pedišić” General Hospital in Sisak, where he gained extensive experience working with patients requiring intensive care. During his time at the hospital, Danijel also took on the role of team leader, developing additional skills in managing medical staff, coordinating team activities, and ensuring high standards of patient care. In addition to his practical work, he has shown a strong interest in scientific research in the field of nursing. He is the author of several professional papers that have been presented at national conferences, contributing to his continuous professional development and the exchange of experiences with colleagues, which further enhances his approach to patient care and work. Danijel also has a strong interest in education, being dedicated to passing on his knowledge and experience to younger colleagues and continuously improving through participation in educational programs. He is actively involved with the Red Cross, where he volunteers in various humanitarian activities and first aid training. These experiences have further strengthened his professional work, enabling him to contribute to the community outside of his work environment and share his knowledge and skills with a broader population.
