Liborija Lugovi\u0107 Mihi\u0107 was born in 1968 in \u0160ibenik, where she completed primary and secondary school. In 1986, she enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Rijeka, graduating in 1992. She began her internship in June 1992 at Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb, during which she pursued postgraduate studies in “Clinical Immunology” at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine. During her internship and postgraduate studies, she was involved in scientific projects and research at the Clinic for Skin and Venereal Diseases at Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb.<\/p>\n

From 1994 to 2001, she worked at the Health Center in Kutina in the Emergency Department, where she also served as the head of the Emergency Medical Service. In December 1995, she defended her master’s thesis titled “The Significance of Routine Immunological Tests in Recognizing and Monitoring Atopic Dermatitis.” Subsequently, in November 2001, she began her specialization in dermatovenereology at Clinical Hospital Center Sestre Milosrdnice in Zagreb, where she currently works.<\/p>\n

In December 2002, she defended her doctoral dissertation titled “Determination of Immunological Parameters as Confirmation of Immune Disorders in Atopic Dermatitis.” After passing the specialist exam in 2005, she has been working as a specialist in dermatovenereology at Clinical Hospital Center Sestre Milosrdnice, where she is also the Head of the Polyclinic.<\/p>\n

In April 2005, she was appointed as a senior assistant and scientific associate at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb. In 2007, she became an associate professor at the Department of Dermatovenereology at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, and in 2013, she became a full professor at the same department, where she served as the head of the department from 2015 to 2018. She has been a mentor for numerous master’s theses and doctoral dissertations.<\/p>\n

Liborija Lugovi\u0107 Mihi\u0107 has participated in several scientific projects of the Ministry of Science, and she is the leader of her own project and a participant in an international project. In 2015, she was recognized as the most efficient dermatovenereologist by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia, and in 2016, the research under her mentorship was awarded the Rector’s Award. She has published numerous scientific and professional papers both internationally and in Croatia and actively participated in various congresses and meetings. She is the author and co-author of several books. Her specific area of work is allergology and clinical immunology in dermatology.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
