Dr. Crljenko was born in 1989 in Zadar. He entered the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine in 2008 and graduated in July 2014 with an average grade of 4.91 out of 5.
He sterted his residency in cardiology in 2017, and passed the specialist exam in June 2022, and since then he has been working at the Clinic for Cardiovascular Diseases of the University Hospital Centre ”Sestre milosrdnice” as a specialist cardiologist. His narrower field of professional work is cardiac intensive care and acute cardiovascular diseases.
He actively participates in international and domestic congresses, workshops and symposia as a speaker, conference abstracts presenter and as part of the organizational team.
He is a member of the Croatian Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology and the Association for Acute Cardiovascular Care (ACVC). He was specially educated for the intensive treatment of cardiovascular patients at the Intensive Cardiac Medicine School, Barcelona, Spain in 2019 and successfully completed the European course of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) in Paris in 2022.
He actively participates in numerous clinical drug trials as a subinvestigator, thanks to which he has significant experience in the application of the latest therapeutic methods.
